  1. My experience required assistance from the Grant Solutions helpdesk. I found out the fillable forms for the SF424 and SF424A cannot accept any other dollar signs, commas, or decimal points. Just put in the number. Also on the SF424 I just hit submit even though I did not have an e-signature of my tribe’s approving official (our tribal chief). It accepted the submission anyway. If I missed that info on the video then it’s my oversight but I needed the help desk at the last minute to get through that obstacle.
I used the fillable excel spreadsheet for the budget and narrative. My budget and all the attachments are in and I’ll just wait for our award letter on October 1.

  2. I had issues with the spreadsheet. Most of the formulas they had inserted into the spreadsheet simply didn’t work for us. The In-Kind situation required that we approach it differently and thus, we had to make adjustments to the spreadsheet. Hopefully it will be easier next year. I also had issues with Grant Solutions. It wouldn’t allow me to sign in, so I emailed my submittal to Paige and Dana Huckabee
