Dear Child Support Colleagues,

Please allow me to inform you all of some recent staff changes here at Delaware Tribe.

First, I am pleased to introduce Ms. Shelby Lacey (Cherokee) who has been hired as our CSE Financial Specialist. Her background is in banking and she has proven to be a quick study with a heart for our clients. Ms. Arleata Snell has been our Case Manager since we went comprehensive in 2015 and will continue in that role.

And now for an even bigger change…

The Tribal Council has given me a new command here at Delaware Tribe of Indians. Effective November 1 I will be the Director of the Cultural Resources Department. Thus I will no longer be working in the Child Support Enforcement environment. Also I am quite pleased to announce that, effective October 16, 2017 the new Director of Child Support Services will be Aimee Turner.  She will be leaving her position at Kaw Nation to join our tribal program which just received a Title IV-D Notice of Award for FY2018.

During those final two weeks of this month I’ll be serving as Co-Director with Aimee here at Delaware Tribe. This position is Director of Family & Children Services which also includes our Indian Child Welfare program AND a new Domestic Violence program. We just received our award notice from DOJ/OVW for a two-year startup grant. As Co-Director I will assist Aimee in assuming all duties and responsibilities of the position.

I plan to attend NATCSD this month with Aimee at River Spirit Resort in Tulsa and make this announcement in person. I plan to personally thank all of you for your support of my service as IV-D Director and for your inspiring service to the Child Support community.

See you in Tulsa on October 18. CZ
