Fall Meeting 2016 Details

Hello everyone!  Last Friday I posted the details about the Fall meeting in Marksville, Louisiana.  I heard from a few people that they didn’t get the email notification for that meeting.  I am not familiar enough with this new website yet – I assumed we were all getting notifications of all the comments made, but that must not be the case!  I will figure it out, but in the meantime, I thought I would re-post the information as a new discussion item so I can be sure the email gets sent to everyone.

Here are the details:

Meeting Dates:                October 18, 19 & 20, 2016

Meeting Location:           Paragon Casino Resort, Marksville, Louisiana.

Hotel:  We have two options for rooms.  You can reserve a Standard Guest Room for $83.00 or a Deluxe Atrium Guest Room for $103.00.  Please refer to National Association of Tribal Child Support Directors – CHDO17G when making reservations.

The block rate expires on September 26, 2016 so please try to make your reservations by that date.  Also be aware that you will need a credit card guarantee equal to the first night’s charge.  The deposit becomes non-refundable if you do not arrive or cancel 48 hours prior to arrival.

The hotel will be turning off all room charges for our group so that we do not have to pay the extra deposit.  You may elect to have it turned on if you anticipate room charges.

Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

We will receive a 20% discount at the hotel spa – Spa La Vie.

Transportation:   The hotel is located 40 miles from the Alexandria International Airport in Alexandria, Louisiana.  The hotel will provide shuttle transportation to and from the hotel for $65.00 round trip.  You will need to reserve the shuttle in advance.   The fee will be charged to your room.

Here is the reservation form for the shuttle.  (In case you have problems opening it, I was able to open it by right clicking on it and opening the link in a new tab.)
