Good Morning Tribal Directors,
I have been asked by the NTCSA Board to send out a survey on whether you, or any of your staff, plan on attending the 2021 NTCSA Conference at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut this year. We are currently looking at some dates in October of this year. Could you please let me know if you, or any of your staff, plan on attending this year. We are trying to get a ballpark figure on how many will attend, so that the board can make the decision on whether or not to cancel or continue on with planning the conference. Please respond as soon as possible with the number that will be attending.
Thank you and stay safe and warm,
Kent Walden, Director

Hi Kent,
I’m not able to answer with a number of staff because our tribe has not lifted the travel restrictions yet. As soon as that happens then I can respond. Thank you and I hope you and the family are healthy and safe. Take care
If we can go, we will have 3 staff. Hopefully we will all have our little star on our real ID/drivers license.
Kent 8 from Fort Belknap.
7 of us if our travel ban is lifted by then.
Kent,
If our travel restrictions get lifted we would be sending three staff members. With a lot of new staff members we are really hoping to attend in-person.
Take care
I don’t think we will be traveling this year, but if we are able to we would send 4-5.

Thank you Danita for your response. Our travel is suspended right now also, and not sure when it will lifted either. So we are in the same boat as you right now.

We are still restricted for travel but if it is lifted, we would have 5-6 attend.
Hi All,
I’d love to be able to send staff to the conference – though at this point, like so many others, we are unable to make travel plans/commitments. If travel is happening then, I would estimate sending 5-6 staff.
Sokaogon Chippewa Tribe will have 5 attending NTCSA Conference if/when our travel ban ends.
If the travel ban is lifted by then I would plan on 4 of us attending from SWO
Thank you Sue. I believe alot of the tribes are in the same situation
